Kolhapur, July 2 -- City's young director Mayur Kulkarni's short film 'Sweet Moon' has received nomination as best short film in the competitive section at the 22nd Indian Film Festival of Stuttgart being held in Stuttgart Germany from July 23 to 27.
It was an honor for the director of 'Sweet Moon', with the film having attracted attention internationally, to be invited to this prestigious festival in Stuttgart, Germany. Mr Kulkarni has directed, edited and done the photography of the 15-minute short film.
Mr Kulkarni, who is commercial artist, has made three short films including 'Bhavtaal', 'Origin' and 'Sweet Moon', which have been admired by critics at the national and international level, a statement said.
