Kolhapur, Aug. 16 -- A decades-long demand for a circuit bench of the Bombay High Court for six districts in Maharashtra will be fulfilled tomorrow with its inauguration in Kolhapur.
The inauguration of the circuit bench will be a milestone in the decentralisation of justice administration, providing a new facility for the districts of Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Solapur, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg.
The ceremony will be held at the Meri Whether Ground on August 17. Chief Justice of India, Justice Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai, will inaugurate the bench in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar.
