Kolkata, Jan. 27 -- Nearly 19 hours after a massive fire broke out in two adjoining godowns of a reputed momo manufacturing company in Nazirabad, Anandapur in east Kolkata, charred bodies and body parts were recovered from the site, even as the blaze continued to smoulder on Monday night and dozens of families searched for missing workers.
Police sources said three severely burnt skeletal remains were recovered earlier, while seven more charred body parts were found around 9 pm on Monday.
Though the exact number of casualties remains unclear, but as many as 20 families have lodged missing diaries at the police station, claiming their relatives who worked at the godown have not been traced so far.
