Dubai, Feb. 23 -- India's batting star Virat Kohli added another feather to his illustrious cap, becoming the fastest batsman to reach 14,000 runs in One-Day Internationals (ODIs).

He achieved this historic milestone in just 287 innings during India's Champions Trophy clash against Pakistan in Dubai on Sunday.

Kohli surpassed the previous record held by India legend Sachin Tendulkar, who reached the milestone in 350 innings, and Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara, who took 378 innings. With this, he became only the third batsman in ODI history to cross the 14,000-run mark.
