Kohima, Dec. 19 -- The Kohima Deputy Commissiner's office organised a Kohima district workshop on good governance initiatives and practices as part of the Good Governance Week, which began on Friday, aiming to ensure clean, transparent, and efficient public delivery systems.
Addressing the workshop themed "Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore, Kohima DC B Henok Buchem emphasised the importance of good governance that is rooted in accountability, transparency, and efficient public service delivery.
Noting that good governance has emerged as a growing trend across India and globally, Buchem cited Singapore and Scandinavian countries as notable examples of effective governance systems.
