Kochi, March 19 -- Kerala's own broadband service; KFON connections are steadily increasing across homes, offices, and commercial establishments in the district.

Offering high-speed internet at affordable rates, KFON continues to attract more users. So far, 4,406 connections have been provided in Ernakulam district under the initiative.

A total of 2,172.2 kilometers of cables have been laid in the district, including 296.38 kilometers of OPGW cables installed through KSEB transmission towers and 1,875.79 kilometers of ADSS cables via KSEB poles.
