Madrid, March 18 -- FC Barcelona is likely to be without midfielder Marc Casado for the rest of the season after confirming he suffered a knee ligament injury in the second half of his side's 4-2 win
away to Atletico Madrid.
Casado was replaced by Eric Garcia in the 67th minute of the game and on Monday morning the Spanish Football Federation confirmed that he had withdrawn from the national team squad for the forthcoming UEFA Nations League quarter-final against the Netherlands.
Barcelona published a medical report later on Monday explaining Casado "has an injury to a ligament in his right knee," and adding he will "undergo further tests to ascertain the extent of the injury and subsequent treatment." It's hard to see Casado recoverin...
