Chennai, April 19 -- The Tami Nadu government's flagship Kalaignar Kaivinai Thittam (KKT) scheme, with subsidy component, was an alternative to the Centre's PM Vishwakarma Scheme
which reinforces the casteist divisions, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin said on Saturday.
Speaking after launching the scheme at Kundarathur in Kancheepuram district near here, he said
KKT was a socially inclusive and non-discriminatory scheme that upholds the values of the Dravidian
model.
The KKT scheme framed by the DMk government as an alternative to the Centre's scheme not only
supports traditional artisans but also actively dismantles caste-based barriers.
