Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 16 -- The Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), the technology arm of the General Education Department, has invited tenders for 5,000 advanced robotic kits to further strengthen robotics education in schools.

The kits will be distributed to all high schools with active Little KITEs units. Earlier, KITE had provided 29,000 robotic kits, each comprising about 15 components, to schools across the State.

Since the current academic year, robotics has been included in the ICT curriculum, benefiting more than 4 lakh Class 10 students.
