Hyderabad, Oct. 24 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Friday said the country's youth are the driving force behind India's journey toward becoming a developed nation by 2047.

He was speaking after distributing appointment letters to successful candidates at the 17th Rozgar Mela held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, King Koti, here.

Congratulating the new appointees, the Minister extended greetings to their families, noting that the Rozgar Mela initiative - launched two years ago during Diwali - has so far enabled over 11 lakh youth across the country to secure Central government jobs.

"Today, another 51,000 appointment letters have been distributed through 40 centers nationwide, including 80 candidates in Hyderabad," he said....
