New Delhi/Hyderabad, Dec. 3 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Telangana government, accusing Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of pushing the state into financial distress, encouraging land scams and hurting Hindu sentiments with his recent remarks.
Speaking to the media in New Delhi, Kishan Reddy said Telangana, which began as a surplus state at the time of its formation, had now been pushed into nearly Rs 10 lakh crore in debt.
He alleged that the Congress government was struggling even to pay salaries and was attempting to sell public land, including plots belonging to Hyderabad Central University, until halted by the courts.
