Hyderabad, July 25 -- Union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy came down heavily on the Congress party, accusing it of misleading Backward Classes (BCs) with false promises and unconstitutional reservations.
Talking to the media at New Delhi, Reddy alleged that the Congress party is trying to deceive BC communities by announcing a 42 per cent reservation for BCs, which, he claimed, includes a 10 per cent quota for Muslims.
"This is a deliberate attempt to dilute BC representation and benefit parties like AIMIM," he said, referring to the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) led by Asaduddin Owaisi.
