Hyderabad, Sept. 28 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy today distributed assistive devices to persons with disabilities after watching Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat program with residents at the Ameerpet Nagarjuna Nagar Community Hall in Jubilee Hills constituency.
Speaking to the media, he said the community viewing was part of nationwide PM Modi birthday service programmes being held under the banner of Seva Paksha, running from September 17 until Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.
Kishan Reddy said the drive includes health check-ups for women, master health screenings, disability assessments and distribution of wheelchairs, tricycles and other aids to help students and differently abled persons.
