Nasik, Jan. 27 -- The 'Kisan Long March' that started from Nashik has reached Kasara Ghat, that leads to Mumbai. Thousands of tribals, led by the All India Kisan Sabha, are protesting for demands such as forest land rights and jobs.

The 'Kisan Long March', which started from the tribal areas of Nashik district to press for their various pending demands, has crossed Kasara village on its sixth day.

Thousands of tribal men and women, along with farmers, are participating in this march, led by the All India Kisan Sabha and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)), carrying their own food and water.
