Bengaluru, Oct. 21 -- Biocon founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw today called on Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar at his Sadashiva Nagar residence, signalling a possible truce after a recent war of words over Bengaluru's infrastructure.

Shivakumar described the meeting on his X handle as "an engaging discussion on Bengaluru's growth, innovation, and the path ahead for Karnataka's growth story." The visit comes after Shaw had publicly criticised the city's poor roads and waste management, prompting sharp reactions from several Congress ministers, including IT-BT Minister Priyank Kharge and Industries Minister MB Patil.
