Bengaluru, Oct. 25 -- (UNI) Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa today said that the recent surge in demand for the traditional Kinnawal art of Koppal district is a direct outcome of the GST relief measures and the Central Government's economic policies aimed at promoting self-reliance and traditional skill-based livelihoods.
Vijayendra said that artisans practising Kinnawal art are now receiving orders from across the country and even overseas, adding that the demand has "significantly exceeded expectations."He stated that this growth reflects the positive impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development vision, which has encouraged expansion in both cultural production and local entrepreneurship.
