KIMS Cancer Centre cures skin Lymphoma patient using Electron Beam Therapy

Bhubaneswar, July 12 -- The KIMS Cancer Centre has successfully treated a patient suffering from Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma using Electron Beam Therapy (EBT), a specialized radiation technique designed to precisely target cancers on or near the skin.

The patient, a resident of central Odisha, had been struggling with painful, oozing growths across the body caused by Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma-a rare form of cancer that primarily affects the skin.

Prior to visiting KIMS, the patient had undergone surgery to remove some of the lesions and had also received multiple rounds of chemotherapy.

Upon arrival at the KIMS Cancer Centre, the patient presented with numerous nodular skin lesions, accompanied by severe pain and fluid discharge.
