Bhubaneshwar, Dec. 1 -- In the third student suicide case at the Bhubaneswar-based Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha's less than nine months, a first year Computer Science student, a resident of Chhattisgarh, allegedly died by suicide on Sunday night.

The body of the deceased, Rahul Yadav, was recovered from his hostel room after the locked room was broken open. His body was found hanging from the ceiling fan. It appears to be case of suicide.

Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances of the death, a senior police officer said on Monday.
