Lucknow, Dec. 29 -- The Sushant Golf City police have successfully cracked a kidnapping-for-ransom case, arresting three accused and safely rescuing the abducted youth today.
The police also recovered an SUV vehicle used in the crime and an illegal firearm from the possession of the accused.
According to the police, Lokesh Meena, a resident of Jaipur, Rajasthan, lodged a written complaint at the Sushant Golf City police station last Sunday. He alleged that some miscreants assaulted him and his friend, stolen his car, and abducted his friend Sumit on Saturday. The accused were allegedly demanding money in exchange for Sumit's release.
