Hoshirpur (Punjab), June 4 -- A wave of relief and celebration swept through Bure Jattan village near Hoshiarpur after news emerged that Amritpal Singh, one of the three Punjabi youths kidnapped in Iran last month, had reportedly been released.
Amritpal Singh, a 23-year-old resident of Bhagowal village in Hoshiarpur district, had left for Australia
via Iran on May 1, along with two others - Husanpreet Singh of Dhuri (Sangrur) and Jaspal Singh of Langroya (SBS Nagar).
