Agartala, Oct. 12 -- At least four people, including three minor boys, were arrested last night in connection with the kidnapping of a teenage girl two days ago.
They were apprehended from Maharani of Udaipur, under Tripura's Gomati district.
The adult accused has been arrested and forwarded to court, which is now seeking his police custody, while the three minors in conflict with the law have been apprehended and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board.
"We have rescued the girl who was reportedly kidnapped from her locality by the accused persons on October 10. She has been handed over to her family after completing all legal and medical formalities," said a police statement.
