Agra, Oct. 25 -- A tense eight-hour search ended in relief after a young boy who had been kidnapped in Agra was found safe on Friday.
The child, who was abducted around 1:30 p.m while playing near his home in the Garhi Chandni area under the Etmaduddaula police station, was found abandoned just 200 meters from his residence.
According to police, two men had taken the boy while he was playing outside. CCTV footage from the neighborhood showed one man holding the child's hand and walking away, while another arrived on an Activa scooter a short distance away. The two then fled with the boy.
The child's father, Sonu, who owns a jewelry shop named Radhe Jewellers, received a ransom call around 2:30 p.m., with the abductors demanding Rs 2.5 la...
