Srinagar, March 5 -- The picturesque ski resort of Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir is all set to host the second leg of the Khelo India Winter Games 2025 (KIWG) from March 9 to 12.
The event, originally scheduled from February 22 to 25, had to be postponed due to a lack of snow in Gulmarg. However, the recent snowfall has set the perfect stage for the much-anticipated winter games.
"Gulmarg is ready! With fresh snowfall and full preparedness, the J&K administration and Sports Council are set to host the 2nd leg of #KIWG2025 from 9th to 12th March. A world-class winter experience awaits!," J&K Sports Council said in a statement.
