Kharge slams Modi over third-party 'ceasefire'
Kalaburagi, May 12 -- Senior Congress leader and Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge on Monday lashed out at the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre, terming the 'ceasefire' announcement by a third country a 'diplomatic failure' and demanding immediate convening of Parliament and an all-party meeting to discuss the ongoing security situation.
Speaking to media, Kharge expressed concern that the ceasefire, which followed a statement by the President of the United States, was announced without any clarity from the Indian government.
