Bengaluru, Nov. 23 -- As speculation over a possible leadership change in Karnataka gathers pace, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday responded with a restraint that has become almost customary in the party's internal affairs, a silence that suggests everything while stating almost nothing.

Kharge told reporters that whatever needed to be done would be decided by the party high command. His remarks came after a second lengthy meeting with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah within a week, triggered by renewed chatter following the government completing half its term on November 20.
