Bengaluru, Aug. 24 -- Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge today launched a sharp attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), describing it as a "toxic organisation" that poses a grave danger to India's unity, democracy, and constitutional values.

In a strongly worded statement, he said that for building an enlightened and prosperous India, every citizen must take a pledge that "not even the shadow of RSS should touch us."Accusing the RSS of carrying forward the "poison" of Nazism and Manusmriti-based ideology that thrives on casteism and hatred, Congress leaders reiterated that the organisation has always been viewed as an enemy.
