New Delhi, May 18 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Sunday expressed sadness over the fire tragedy in Charminar area of Hyderabad.
On his social media handle X, Kharge said, "I am deeply saddened by the devastating fire tragedy in the Charminar area of Hyderabad, which has claimed several precious lives. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the victims during this difficult time".
Kharge said that he spoke to Chief Minister of Telangana, who assured, that the government is taking all necessary relief measures, including providing speedy and adequate compensation to those affected.
