New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra today expressed deep sorrow over the cloudburst in Dharali (Uttarkashi), Uttarakhand, which has led to the loss of several lives and many people missing.
Describing the devastation as "heartbreaking" Kharge on X said, "The devastation caused by the cloudburst in Dharali (Uttarkashi), Uttarakhand, is truly heartbreaking. Many lives have been lost, and several people are missing. Entire families have been uprooted".
Kharge extended his condolences to the victims' families and appealed to the government and administration to expedite rescue efforts.
