Itanagar, Nov. 25 -- Senior BJP leader and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed confidence about BJP's resounding victory in the upcoming Panchayat Raj elections scheduled for December 15.
Currently on a tour to his hometown, Khandu met BJP office-bearers from Tawang district and the three Mandals of Jang, Tawang, and Lumla, emphasising the strength of the party's grassroots network ahead of the local body polls.
In a show of organisational dominance, Khandu revealed that 241 out of 310 Gram Panchayat (GP) seats in Tawang district have been won unopposed by BJP members, a figure that underscores the party's deep penetration and mobilisation at the village level.
