Khalistani threat emails trigger security alert at Parliament, Delhi schools

New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- Khalistani elements have issued threats to blow up the Indian Parliament, following which security around the Parliament complex has been significantly tightened.

Threatening emails were also sent to several schools, warning of bomb blasts and carrying the slogan "Hindustan Banega Khalistan".

The emails were sent by a person identified as Zachary Jenkins using the email ID [e-mail]. A copy of the email was accessed by UNI News Agency. The sender used the Punjabi language to convey the threat.

"Delhi BanayGa Khalistan. Aaj Shaheed Afzal Guru di Yaad vich bomb blast 1:11 pm hovega. Schoolan vich aaj dhamaka. Hindustani Parliament vich bomb chalega. 13 February at 1:11 PM hovega. Modi-Shah-Jaishankar Khalis...
