Mumbai, Feb. 22 -- Mumbai Police have banned all personnel from making or posting reels, mini-vlogs, or any social media videos while in uniform, official sources said on Sunday.
A circular to this effect has been issued by Dattatreya Kamble, DCP (Special Branch).
The order highlights that such content could unintentionally reveal sensitive information about offices, government vehicles, equipment, or duties, posing security and privacy risks. Mumbai has around 51,000 police personnel.
