Chandigarh, Oct. 18 -- Senior Congress leader and MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, terming the arrest of DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar by the CBI as a major corruption scandal that shatters AAP's claims of "corruption-free governance."Khaira said the seizure of large amounts of cash, gold, and property linked to Bhullar has exposed the Bhagwant Mann-led administration's failure to control corruption within the police and bureaucracy.
He alleged that if a senior police officer could accumulate such wealth under AAP's regime, it reflects widespread corruption across state institutions and political circles.
