Lucknow, Dec. 23 -- The administration of King George's Medical University (KGMU) here has suspended a junior resident doctor following allegations of sexual harassment and attempted religious conversion, officials said today.
The action was taken against Dr. Rameezuddin on the directions of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sonia Nityanand, and the suspension order was issued by Dean (Academics) Prof. Virendra. The decision comes after a complaint filed by a woman resident doctor pursuing an MD degree at the university.
