Lucknow, Aug. 9 -- The medical education sector of Uttar Pradesh has achieved another historic achievement after King George Medical University (KGMU) has been awarded A++ recognition by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

This honor has been received with 3.67 CGPA, which is a testimony to the quality, research, education level and management capability of the university.

Two years ago, Prof. Sonia Nityanand, who took over as Vice Chancellor on August 9, 2023, had set a target to bring KGMU from A+ to A++ category.
