Thiruvananthapuram, March 14 -- The Kerala government's flagship digital connectivity initiative, Kerala Fibre Optic Network Limited (KFON), has won the 'Broadband Telecom Company of the Year' title at the Asian Telecom Awards 2026, recognising its efforts in strengthening digital infrastructure and expanding affordable high-speed internet connectivity across the state.

The awards are organised by Asian Telecom, a leading international publication focused on the mobile and communications industry, to honour telecom organisations and industry leaders across Asia that demonstrate innovation and contribute significantly to the future of connectivity.
