Thiruvananthapuram, May 20 -- Kerala's flagship internet connectivity initiative, KFON, has crossed a major milestone by reaching over 1 lakh users across the state.
From remote tribal hamlets to island settlements where even transportation is a challenge, KFON has extended its services to some of the most underserved areas-living up to the state government's vision of bridging the digital divide.
As of today, 1,00,098 users are connected through KFON. This includes 62,781 Fiber to the Home (FTTH) connections, 23,163 connections in government institutions, and 2,729 connections in government-private institutions.
