Chennai, May 1 -- A key accused in the sensational murder of dalit leader and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) former Tamil Nadu unit President K Armstrong in July 204, was arrested at the Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) while trying to flee abroad, and brought to Chennai on Friday morning.

Police said Aswathaman, who was released on conditional bail a few days ago, was arrested by the Immigration authorities at the BIA minutes before he was to board a flight to Bangkok based on a Lookout Circular (LOC) issued against him.
