Thiruvananthapuram, June 17 -- Keralites residing in Iran and Israel are currently safe, NORKA Roots (a department of the Kerala Government to redress the grievances of Non-Resident Keralites NRKs) CEO Ajith Kolassery, said on Tuesday.
"Malayalees from both countries have confirmed their safety after recent missile attacks. However, the situation remains serious in both Tehran, Iran, and Tel Aviv, Israel," the CEO said.
Twelve MBBS students from Kerala studying at Kerman University of Medical Sciences in Iran, and a business delegation that had traveled to Tehran, are currently in contact with NORKA.
