Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 23 -- The National Statistics Office (NSO), under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), in collaboration with the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), organised the Data User's Conference on the Time Use Survey (TUS) 2024 today.
Around 175 delegates, including researchers, policymakers, academics, and media representatives, attended the event, aimed at enhancing collaboration and feedback on statistical data use.
Dr. Saurabh Garg, Secretary, MoSPI, in his inaugural address, highlighted the Ministry's vision of "Data for Development" and stressed the importance of data-driven policymaking in achieving a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
