Kozhikode, Dec. 28 -- A 16-year-old girl was found dead in her house at Kakkadampoyil in Kerala's Kozhikode district today, after allegedly consuming a poisonous substance following a domestic quarrel.
The girl's body was found by her family in the morning.
The deceased, Suman, a native of Assam, was living at Kakkadampoyil along with the family.
The police found a bottle of poisonous substance next to the body.
During questioning, the girl's family stated that there was a quarrel at home last night and that the girl was found dead in the morning. They claimed that the girl died after ingesting a poisonous substance.
