Thiruvananthapuram, May 10 -- CPI(M) Politburo member and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today extended his heartfelt congratulations to Joseph Vijay on being elected as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
In a congratulatory message, Vijayan said that the mandate given by the people in a democratic system carries immense responsibility and expressed confidence that the trust reposed in Joseph Vijay by the people of Tamil Nadu would be reflected in a government committed to social justice, secularism, and public welfare.
Highlighting the historic relationship between Kerala and Tamil Nadu, he noted that the two neighbouring states share a long tradition of friendship, cooperation and cultural ties.
