Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 5 -- Former State Transport Minister and sitting MLA Antony Raju has been disqualified from the Kerala Legislative Assembly following his conviction in an evidence-tampering case, the Assembly Secretariat said in a notification issued today.
According to the notification from the Secretariat of the Kerala Legislature, Antony Raju, elected to the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly from the '134-Thiruvananthapuram' Assembly Constituency, was sentenced to three years' simple imprisonment in Calendar Case No. 811/2024 by the Judicial First Class Magistrate-I Court, Nedumangad.
