Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 28 -- Kerala will bring out a comprehensive film policy within the next three months with specific measures to promote and encourage documentaries, said Cultural Affairs Minister Saji Cherian.

Announcing this at the closing ceremony of the 17th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) here last night, the Minister said the policy would address the concerns of independent filmmakers and support documentary productions.
