Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 23 -- Kerala is set to strengthen the maternal and newborn healthcare with the launch of 'Sutika Mitram', an Ayurveda based training program for women on prenatal and postnatal care.
The initiative, conducted by the National Ayush Mission with technical support from the Ayurveda Medical Education Department, aims to provide professional care for mothers and infants across the state.
The program will offer a three month certificate course under the guidance of the National Institute of Training in Ayush. Women aged 20 to 50 years who have completed SSLC are eligible to enroll.
