Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 24 -- Kerala is set to host the country's first national workshop on Ocean Ecosystem Accounting on August 29, 2025, at Nedumbassery, under an ambitious initiative launched by the union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI).
The workshop, which will bring together policymakers, domain experts and representatives from across India's coastal regions, aims to strengthen a comprehensive framework for data collection on the ocean sector-covering both economic and ecological dimensions.
