Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 21 -- Kerala will soon achieve full capacity to process all sanitary waste generated in the state, with several new treatment plants nearing completion.

Facilities capable of converting the state's 600 tonnes of daily inorganic waste into Refuse-Derived Fuel will be commissioned within the next four to five months.

Local Self-Government Minister M.B. Rajesh, who launched the upgraded Harithamithram 2.0 application, felicitated municipalities that excelled in the central government's Swachh Survekshan survey.
