Malappuram, Aug. 8 -- The Kerala State Hajj Committee has received a total of 27,186 applications for Hajj- 2026. Among them, 5,238 applicants fall under the 65+ age group, 3,624 are in the "Ladies Without Mehram" (45+ without a male Mehram) category, 917 in the General B. (WL) category, and 17,407 in the General category. In comparison, 20,636 applications were submitted for Hajj 2025.
A thorough review of the applications is currently underway. Applicants will be assigned a cover number only after their submitted documents have been verified. In cases where documents are unclear, a cover number will not be issued.
