Palakkad (Kerala), March 29 -- The Shoranur Cooperative Bank officials has attached the properties and sealed the Kubera temple (Lord of Riches), due to the failure of repayment of loan amounted to Rs 10.20 crores, including interest, by Palat family members at Chalavara near Cherpulassery in this district.
The temple was sealed on Friday as per the Court Order.
The bank officials sealed the building of the temple and 29 acres of pledged land, as per the court order under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security interest (SARFAESI) Act, as part of revenue recovery process.
