Guruvayur, Dec. 1 -- The temple town of Guruvayur is geared up for the grand celebration of its most prominent festival, Ekadasi, on Monday, with a festive spirit pervading every corner of the city.
Temple authorities have made extensive arrangements to accommodate the thousands of devotees who have already converged on the sacred shrine.
Ekadasi is observed as Gita Jayanti, marking the auspicious day on which Lord Krishna is believed to have imparted the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna.
