Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 10 -- Kerala's celebrated Pachathuruth initiative green islands that have blossomed into biodiversity havens is all set for its most prestigious recognition yet, as the State-level screening for the Chief Minister's Award for Best Green Islands began here today under the aegis of the Haritha Keralam Mission.
Launched as part of the State's determined fight against climate change and ecological degradation, the movement has already created a silent green revolution on the ground.
